Anyone who shares our mission is welcome to join as a member. We look forward to welcoming friends and supporters who want to help sustain and grow our activities.

Constitution & Rules:

ANE operates under the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (Victoria).

Membership Information

Membership Fees:
Individual Membership: AUD 20 per year
Group Membership: AUD 120 per year
Membership is valid for one year, from January to December.

Your membership fees are used to support ANE’s activities and events. We warmly welcome your participation and support.

Volunteers Wanted

ANE is looking for volunteers to help support Japanese seniors in Australia, ensuring they feel connected and secure.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Assisting with social gatherings, cultural activities, and learning programs
• Fundraising activities, such as craft-making and event preparation
• Interpreting and lifestyle support

Participation can be at your own pace, providing a chance to build new connections and friendships within the community. Your time and skills can make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors living far from home.

Donations

ANE’s activities are supported by government and local grants, membership fees, and the generous donations of our community.
Donations can be made via bank transfer to the following account.

Tax-Deductible Status:
ANE is a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). Under certain conditions, your donations may be tax-deductible.

Donating Items:

If you have items at home that you no longer need, please consider donating them. Donated items are sold at markets and other events, with proceeds supporting ANE’s programs and activities.

We can discuss pickup arrangements depending on the type of item, and for some donations, home collection may be possible.
