Yukari West Activity Report – Friday, March 6
We had a vocal training session with Natsuko-sensei for the first time in six months.
She clearly explained how to produce the voice by opening the diaphragm and chest, relaxing the jaw, and allowing the sound to flow naturally. Everyone has also improved greatly in singing while resonating the vowels without putting tension in the face.
Natsuko-sensei’s lessons are always powerful and enjoyable. Participants leave feeling energized and are able to sing with more freedom and resonance.
Natsuko-sensei also has an upcoming concert. If you are interested, please see the link below.

February 21 – First Natsumero Kissa of the Year♪
We held the first Natsumero Kissa of the year as a special event, with a lively turnout of 24 participants, including 20 guests and 4 volunteers.
The first half began, as usual, with Mr. Doi’s introduction to the songs. Participants then sang together while following the lyrics displayed on the screen. This month’s theme was “Past Record Award Winners”, and most of the songs were familiar to everyone, bringing back many nostalgic memories.
In the second half, we enjoyed a delightful meal. In addition to dishes purchased from ANE’s meal service, volunteers and members brought homemade dishes, creating a lavish buffet. With such a variety and abundance of food, everyone was well fed and satisfied.
As you can see in the photos, costumes were also part of the theme this time. The venue was bright and cheerful, creating a fun and joyful atmosphere full of smiles.
If you haven’t joined us before, or haven’t participated in a while, we warmly invite you to come along next time and enjoy a wonderful time together!
