Our Activities

ANE provides Japanese seniors living in Australia with information and advice on welfare, healthcare, and aged care systems to help them live with confidence and peace of mind. As a friendly and accessible point of contact, we encourage seniors not to face language or system-related worries alone.
We also foster social connections through facility visits, lunch gatherings, and interpreting support, helping members stay connected with the wider community.

Through regularly held programs such as social gatherings, cultural activities, and learning opportunities, we offer members the chance to stay connected in a sustainable and enjoyable way. By engaging in hobbies and new challenges, participants can maintain a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle even while living in a foreign country.

ANE organizes a variety of events, including seasonal festivals, special lectures, study sessions, site visits, concerts showcasing participants’ achievements, and volunteer social gatherings. These activities broaden community connections and promote cultural exchange, including introducing Japanese culture and fostering interaction with the local community.

We regularly publish a newsletter featuring activity reports, upcoming events, and useful information for life in Australia. To reach a wider audience, including family members who do not speak Japanese and local residents, each newsletter also includes English translations, promoting understanding and community engagement.

ANE raises funds through charity sales, events, and other initiatives to support the continuity and growth of our activities. Your support helps sustain connections and reassurance for Japanese seniors. Our fundraising team contributes ideas, organizes craft production, and manages event preparation to help raise donations.
